(to be displayed with safety glasses; I ran out of neodymium magnets)
April 8th, 2024 was a memorable day. I didn't get up in time because I stayed up all night in anticipation. I walked outside around the time it was happening without my glasses in a slumber attempting to get photography & saw it briefly. Just as the moon revealed some light again. I was technically in totality, but it's actually quite a wide gradation. I strongly recommend going towards the centerline of such events.
Anyhow, I painted this a week or so later based on a couple of perspectives as a sort of commemoration.
