I began doing research into the relationship between Isabella 'd Este & Leonardo. In my humble opinion, she was not merely a patron. I intend to elaborate on a few theories in the future, perhaps addressed in my novel... or hell .... here....
 
She was the Lady Gaga of her day.  Leonardo painted her in La Scapigliata "The Woman with Disheveled hair" (wink wink)  The Mona Lisa (pregnant) & Salvator Mundi "Savior of the World" as not a 12 year old Jesus but Isabella. (The Hair) . . . I'm intentionally fractal izing theories here. I'm not sure which is the truth.
 
Isabella's exhuberance in her letter to Leonardo...read it aloud. to the opposite sex.
 
's future son! (She was the model as the garb is an X over the chest) or (she was the painter the hands are adult but portrayed softly) or Leonardo is the Father...very controversial.  They say he was gay.  ?
